Investigation of nanoparticles effect on salinity-gradient solar pond

Solar ponds, one of the tools in the world which are collected and stored solar energy. Salinity-gradient solar pond is a kind of solar technologies which was composed with multi layers of water-salt with different densities. Different salt-water layers decreased heat transfer rate from solar pond and increased solar energy storage. Using a closed cycle, the energy in the end layer to be able transferred out. In this study, effects of graphite, Nickel and Zinc nanoparticles with different volume concentrations in solar pond were investigated. Consider to numerical and experimental researches, performance of solar pond was improved with using nanoparticles.
